Riding the Serpent
Many of you that have sat with me, on certain occasions or during retreat, we've decided to awaken the hidden energies at the base of the spine, known as Kundalini Shakti or the Primordial Serpent.
This energy typically stirs from below and then can flow throughout the entire body, amplifying in the base of the spine upwards to the belly, heart or head, or it can be experienced as a complete oneness, causing the initiate to wander in the unseen world, depending on the karmic conditions.
Most, unprepared, will be afraid of this powerful energy, thinking it to be shamanistic, witchcraft, or demonic in nature, although nothing can be further from the truth.
The concept of the divine serpent or Mother goddess, often linked to Kundalini Shakti, has appeared across various cultures and traditions.
In Hinduism, the Kundalini Shakti is depicted as a coiled serpent, lying dormant at the base of the spine. This serpent energy, when awakened, rises through the chakras, culminating in spiritual enlightenment.
The serpent is a key symbol of transformation and divine power.
Buddhism, Tantra and Shaktism see goddess Shakti representing the divine feminine energy.
The Kundalini is Her form within the body, and her ascent represents spiritual awakening.
In Tantric practices, the union of Shakti (Kundalini energy) and Shiva (pure consciousness) is the goal of spiritual liberation.
Ancient Egypt views the serpent goddess Wadjet, depicted as a cobra, as symbolizing protection, wisdom, and sovereignty.
The cobra was also a symbol of regeneration and rebirth, and the goddess often appeared alongside the Pharaoh, representing divine power.
In Greek Mythology, the serpent was associated with goddesses like Athena and Hera.
Athena was often depicted with a snake, symbolizing wisdom and renewal, while Hera’s connection to the serpent reflected fertility and the nurturing aspect of the Mother goddess.
In Mesoamerican Traditions, cultures like the Aztecs and Mayans, the serpent represented wisdom and spiritual transformation.
Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent god, was a figure of creation and spiritual ascension, similar to the idea of Kundalini rising.
In Gnosticism, the serpent is a dual symbol, representing both divine wisdom and the awakening of spiritual knowledge.
In some texts, Sophia (wisdom) is seen as a feminine force that has a serpent-like aspect, related to the divine spark within humanity.
Within Chinese traditions like Taoism, the serpent or dragon represents the flow of life energy, or chi, moving through the body’s meridians.
This concept has parallels with the idea of Kundalini energy traveling up the spine, enhancing spiritual awareness.
In Celtic mythology, serpents were often associated with the earth and fertility. The symbol of the Mother goddess, such as Danu, intertwined with serpent imagery, representing the nurturing and regenerative forces of nature.
These diverse representations show the serpent and the Mother goddess as symbols of life force, spiritual power, and transformation across many traditions.
So the concept of the Mother Serpent Goddess as the base primordial energy of life and the universe can be seen around the world, in many traditions separated by thousands of miles and through various generations, differing thousands of years.
As we approach how to utilize the vowel sounds as color, shape and sound, we'll also explore how the right application of timing, along with the right environment for the use of the super charged soma/amirta, creates the perfect environment to not just awaken the serpent energy, but also how to drive it up to the skull so that one can unite the broken link between the Mother (vibration) and the Father (Light), for the sake of achieving liberation and having a direct experience of the gnosis of realization.
We will explore how the right vibration, within the right area, will open the gates to each dimension, as one climbs the spiritual ladder to regain Light and self knowledge.
I'll continue to discuss the practical application we'll start putting into motion this week.
I hope you enjoy these secrets of the ascension process.
Bless you
